I’m Andrew Kaupang, a Senior Art Director, Creative Director, designer, and educator based in Minneapolis. With 20+ years of experience, I create work that connects strategy, storytelling, and strong visual execution.
My experience spans integrated advertising, OOH, branding, digital, social, video, UX/UI, publishing, and print. I enjoy turning ideas into clear, compelling creative, from the first concept through final production.
I’m passionate about the details that make design distinctive, from typography and visual systems to unexpected creative ideas. I also use AI and emerging technologies to explore new directions and improve my creative workflow.
Away from the computer, I enjoy traveling, sports, biking, hiking, working out, and spending time with family.
